Sniiiiiiiiiiifff. Ahh. Air. Beautiful air.

Last Wednesday night, I slept closest to the air conditioner in the hotel room. Yes, I know that it's December... but it was in the mid-60s outside and the room felt as though it had been closed up for several days. We needed the cool air. My reward was a sore through Thursday morning.

Thursday night, the sore throat turned into a sinus headache and a bit of congestion. By the time the wedding rolled around Friday night, I was coughing, sniffling and convinced that I had the plague. Saturday morning, my body kept changing temperatures. Saturday night, I had a fever and seriously considered dying as a possible outcome.

Well, I say all of that to say this... Today, for the first time in a week, I can breathe out of both nostrils! If that's not a reason to celebrate, I don't know what is.

Seriously, having pain in a location I can not see and not being able to breathe properly are two of my biggest health-related pet peeves. Both things drive me absolutely insane. Granted, I'm still not cured. I have a few more more doses of generic meds to take to insure I remain healed... but I'm just so happy that I can breathe that I thought I would share.
