I just got back from the grocery store and (1) there were three people shy of a bazillion folks in there and (2) there was no meat and very few dinner rolls. As in, the ground beef section was totally bare and the dinner rolls section was empty except for four packages. How does that happen? When there's an ice storm coming, there is usually a run on milk, water and soda. But what sparks a jump in meat & dinner rolls? Granted, we've got a war planned for later this week... and maybe that's it.
Winter storm = buy staple items.
War on terror = buy the good stuff.
