Free at last...

My mother has been paroled.

Yesterday, after another set of tests... They decided that while everything isn't perfect, nothing appears immediately dangerous and let her go home. (Actually, she's hanging out at my apartment until tomorrow.)

She's now under the care of three different medical specialties and they plan on sorting out exactly what we wrong. All we know is that she's feeling much better and that all of her doctors here in Franklin don't think cancer is the culprit. This is news better than I could have imagined this time last week.

Thanks to everyone for your support. I mean it. I can't imagine what the past week would have been like without my friends -- online or otherwise.
