A long while ago, Jessie bought me a couple of hanging plants for the veranda. Unfortunately for the plants, I both have a bit of my mom's brown thumb and a knack for forgetting to water such things. So, the first round died. In the spring, Jessie gave it a second shot and planted more flowers. Once again, I killed them off. Although I pulled the dead plants from the baskets, for some reason, I left one basket hanging. When I finally got around to taking it down, I noticed a few small green leaves popping up. In the past few weeks, the small leaves have grown to be larger. Today, my "dead" basket had a suprise for me.
