WNL-XXVIII: "Pull me out from inside"

Twenty-six successful weeks of WNL is not a bad streak, if you ask me. Considering the number of Cat-5 cables, phone lines, computer chips and general technology that has to come together on the middle day of every week.... I'm actually surprised it took until Week 27 to derail the process. The good news is that WNL is back online and the "missing" edition will probably reappear in the future. I took the Internet outage as a sign it needed more editing.

This week, there is no editing. WNL is going back to its roots. No prologue... Just lyrics (and phrasing and general presentation) that are meaningful to me.

I am color blind
Coffee black and egg white
Pull me out from inside
I am ready
I am ready
I am ready
I am...

Taffy stuck and tongue tied
Stuttered, shook and uptight
Pull me out from inside
I am ready
I am ready
I am ready
I am... fine

I am covered in skin
No one gets to come in
Pull me out from inside
I am folded
and unfolded
and unfolding
I am... colorblind

Coffee black and egg white
Pull me out from inside
I am ready
I am ready
I am ready
I am... fine

I am... fine

I am... fine
